About
I am two things - a mother and an artist. I have raised eight kids, much of it as a single parent. Apart from my kids, my life is painting. I paint just about every day which means I produce a lot of work. Some of it shit, some of it less shit.
I have been painting for over twenty years. As I grow in confidence I let go of the need to control the process and the outcome, so the work is more abstracted and expressionistic. My main interest is expressing emotion through the materiality of the paint. Subject matter is secondary. I like to experiment, so my style is fluid.
